Hello! Meet Saif Alsaadi! Saif was a barber in the Netherlands for six and a half years before coming to Moses Lake to live with his family and to pursue his dream of owning his own barbershop. Even though he had been working in his craft for over 6 years, he had to jump through all the hoops to relicense here in the United States. Saif Cuts is located on Broadway and provides a clean, professional, and fun atmosphere for anyone who walks through the door, including video games for the kids, and a variety of drinks for adults.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mom lives in Dubai, and my sister and brother-in-law live here in Moses.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
What I love most about what I do is that I’m currently living and enjoying my dream life! I love the people that come in and support my dream as well.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Rock Top and Bob’s Cafe.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve been here for over 5 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
My brother-in-law’s dad, Fred Altayar. He moved here 30-40 years ago with nothing and is now a successful and wise businessman.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Dubai to visit my mom.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I like comedies and The Walking Dead.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Work hard and don’t be lazy.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To own a silver Mercedes.

So far I love everything, especially the farms!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I’d love for my Saif Cuts barbershop to be thriving and to possibly open up a barber school here in Moses Lake.

I’m a car racer in Europe.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
The Hague in the Netherlands.

July is my favorite month and New Years is my favorite holiday.
