Seth Miner

Hello! Meet Seth Miner. Seth is the owner of Miner Services, a mobile welding and fabrication business here in Moses Lake and the surrounding area. He’s been working in the welding field for over 10 years both in Kodiak, Alaska and here in Moses Lake. He “does it all” when it comes to welding, including working with aluminum, stainless steel, exotic metals, titanium, etc. Seth does custom handrails, gates and fencing, agricultural fabrication, repairs and irrigation, architectural and structural welding, process pipe welding, and has been busy making custom excavator attachments lately. If you’re thinking you need him for a job, be sure to call now because he’s booked through September!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
What I love most about what I do is the creativity factor. I love spending the extra time to make my pieces perfect. I love that this is a competitive trade and that competitiveness drives me to be better. And I love that I’ve met lifelong friends while traveling for work.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Perkins. It was an old restaurant here on Broadway and when I was younger my dad and I would stop and eat there when we traveled through this area.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I’d choose Andy Frisella. He’s a podcaster for small businesses and super informative. We’d definitely go to Rock Top for lunch.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I think all the different food plants/processing plants are so unique here. We have such diversity and I think it’s cool.
