Hello! Meet Leo Kovalev! Leo is the owner and creator of CinemaLions, a photo and video company that specializes in the real estate industry. He is all about excellence; excellent prices, excellent results, and excellent customer service. His company is quickly growing here in Moses Lake and his drive to grow his business here and to bring quality services is inspiring!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I moved to the United States with my parents when I was four years old from Russia. I grew up in the Seattle area, where I met my wife, and we now have two boys.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
One of the past highlights of my career was working for Boeing for 8 years. My last position there was Defense Space and Security Quality Manager for KC-46, as well as one year for Mitsubishi as a Flight Test Deputy Manager. I’ve always loved photography and cinematography, but dove seriously into it as a business this past year. I absolutely love helping people showcase their homes and products. Time literally flies when I’m working and it’s because I love what I do!

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

Pho Saigon, Sumo Japanese Restaurant, and Michaels Bistro.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
My family and I have been here in Moses Lake for one year.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I’d have to say Art VelaLopez.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Cancun – I love it there!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Al pacino Scarface and Friends (thanks to my wife).

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Build your future based on your faith and dreams versus the circumstances you’re currently in.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To build a successful business here in Moses Lake and to become a Bentley yacht owner!

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Deep House Music.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Polaris Off-roading! and PRO Touch Jet Ski and Boat Rentals.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Jesus. We’d chat and have lunch at The Dunes.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Practical, realistic, hardworking community with plenty of sunshine vitamin.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself as the number 1 ranked Marketing Agency in Moses Lake, and I see myself opening up a viral gift shop.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have Gypsy bloodline and I used to play guitar at weddings and sing Gypsy songs.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Coover Island Garden in Victoria, B.C.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
December; I love Christmas and it’s also my birthday month.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Napolean Hill, and his book, Think and Grow Rich. James Allen, and his book, As a Man Thinketh.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
Rose and Lavender.

Peaceful. Calming. Relaxing.
